Well, grab your fedora and popcorn friends! Hollywood’s latest mafia movie, Mob Town, is now in theaters and video on demand nationwide. Loosely based on a true story, Mob Town explores one of the most notorious mob meetings that ended with a not so happy ending.
The cast celebrated the film at their Los Angeles premiere on Friday night. David Arquette stormed The Los Angeles Film School red carpet with his famous family in tow. Did you think that Patricia or Rosanna Arquette would miss the festivities? “Fo’get about it!”

Fresh off the heels of his other highly anticipated movie, Bombshell, P.J. Byrne arrived on the carpet like a boss. Byrne plays Arquette’s trooper sidekick Vincent Vasisko but when reporter Kinsey Schofield asked him who his mob alter ego would be, he said, “Pebbles.” Quick on his feet, Byrne explained that sometimes his friends “don’t understand a thing I say, it sounds like I have pebbles in my mouth.”
Mobster Frankie, played by a perfectly casted George V. Andreakos, says his gangster nickname would be “Bull.” Bada Bing! “I’m a Taurus,” he blushed.
Frankie is one of many mobsters surprised by Arquette during the infamous 1957 mafia summit. At the time, authorities said the bust was like witnessing a clown car explode. This was obviously a crucial scene for the film. Surprisingly, Andreakos says they knocked it out in their first take. Wardrobe was on hand with an extra set of trousers incase his trek through the woods got ugly, but alas, the cast hit a home run.
Speaking of home run, Jamie-Lynn Sigler returns to a life of crime… by association. Her delivery and energy is spot on as the eager housewife, Josephine Barbara, giving June Cleaver a run for her money!
The audience enjoyed treats from Butterfinger Candy Pop popcorn and Pathwater. Post screening, they partied the night away at Tao Group’s Luchini Pizza & Bar in Hollywood.
