Keanu Reeves is back in Chad Stahelski’s ‘John Wick 4′, returning as the titular character ‘John Wick,’ only this time he’s facing ‘Marquis de Gramont’, played by Bill Skarsgård in the fourth installment of the ‘John Wick Universe.’
After three very successful films, John Wick is back for more revenge as he continues to work his way up the “High Table”, killing anyone trying to stop him. The latest film introduces more characters, expanding the film’s already large universe and still manages to impress with the fighting and stunt choreography.
Shamier Anderson (Race, Bruiser), makes his debut into the franchise as “The Tracker”, and does a great job at it, acting with the same expertise as his veteran co-stars. Hiroyuki Sanada (The Last Samurai, Bullet Train), plays “Shimazu”, a long time friend of John Wick’s with strong morals and one of the best friends anyone can have.
We had the opportunity to sit down with Keanu Reeves, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Shamier Anderson to talk about their roles in John Wick 4 and what it was like to prepare for the highly anticipated sequel. “I’ve been playing the role for a while now, and I have a very familiar place in my body… I really start and get that process as I put the suit on,” said Keanu Reeves as he adjusted his necktie.
