NBC’s newest sitcom, YOUNG ROCK  focuses on the different stages of Dwayne Johnson’s life. The show explores Dwayne’s life experiences, wrestling, football, and how he matures to become the resilient man he is today.

Dwayne Johnson is known for his ring name “The Rock ” with his many layers the former athlete uses his skills to improve his talents as an actor, producer, and investor. With the series, Young Rock, Bradley Constant, Joseph Lee Anderson, and Uli Latukefu star as Dwayne Johnson at the different stages of his life from puberty to adulthood.

Bradley Constant plays 15-year-old Dwayne Johnson which is Dwayne being the cool guy in high school, dating scenes, and getting ready to drive. Bradley relates to the role as Dwayne Johnson at 15 because it was based on having fun, real struggles, and carefree. Although Bradley is 22 years old, he recalls moving to New York at a young age to pursue his acting career and getting a new start. Bradley believes that playing “DJ” in YOUNG ROCK was about the groundwork and pulling himself into the role. While preparing, he wanted to keep the kid-like energy of a 15-year old but also remaining real and relatable for others.

Joseph Lee Anderson plays Rocky Johnson. Anderson’s role highlights the complexity of Dwanye and his father’s relationship. The actor is very appreciative of the actors and directors that have helped pave the way for African Americans in the industry. In the film industry, Anderson believes that representation will grow and he is grateful that Young Rock brought people from the Polynesians community onto the set. By starring in Harriet, S.W.A.T, and Timeless, the actor is climbing the ladder of success as the roles keep getting better.

Uli Latukefu plays 18-20-year-old Dwayne Johnson. Uli experienced an age throwback to play Johnson. He had the mentality of the “world is at your feet” during the age of 18-20.  Uli was able to talk to Dwayne for tips and advice about starring in the role. The actor reflects on his career and the friendships that he has made. Uli is humbled and encourages young actors to keep learning and studying their craft.

Young Rock is fun, relatable, and real. The viewers will go on an adventure with Dwayne Johnson. Dwayne Johnson is able to relate to the American people with extraordinary actors that help tell this larger-than-life story.
