I’m certainly one of those people who periodically will make herself wean from TV for some reason or another; I’m thinking I might have to wait until after the season finale of OWN Network’s ‘Queen Sugar’, though.

After appearing as DJ Mister Cee in the 2009 Notorious B.I.G. biopic “Notorious”, actor Edwin Freeman has now stepped into the role of Young Pop, the younger version of Frankie Faison’s character Henry “Pop” Hunter in Marvel’s Netflix series Luke Cage. Edwin recently chatted with us about the role and working as part of the series.

Susan Kelechi Watson is a beautiful and talented actress. She is currently staring in the NBC television dramedy series This is Us as Beth Pearson that premiered in September 2016. She is also recognized for her reoccurring role on the television show Louie that aired from 2012 to 2014 and for her other numerous reoccurring roles in other television shows. We had the pleasure of speaking with Susan about her role as Beth who is the wife of Randall, a stylish New York-based businessman who is working to raise two daughters with her.

Whatever your expectations are for Divorce, lower them. One would hope that the new HBO series, created by Sharon Horgan, would be as delightfully funny as Catastrophe, Horgan’s other project currently on air. However, Divorce seems to be devoid of any concrete tone. The new Sarah Jessica Parker starring vehicle has next to nothing beyond tired cliches and profanity.
HBO’s newest large-scale endeavor, Westworld, is trying hard to entice. If you haven’t seen the press surrounding it, there’s been some serious concerns with content. What Westworld manages to accomplish in its pilot, “The Original,” is firmly establish tone, backstory, and future conflict. It does so with a great deal of success, with only a few outlying weak points. Although the show isn’t quite a Game of Thrones-level hit, Westworld’s pilot sets up enough to entice viewers.
Urbanworld Film Festival Hosts Discussion About Fox’s ‘Shots Fired’
The cast of Fox’s upcoming series “Shots Fired” which was created by Gina Prince-Bythewood and husband Reggie Rock Bythewood discussed the series at Urbanworld Film Festival. The series which stars Sanaa Lathan, Stephan James, Helen Hunt, DeWanda Wise, Tristan Mack Wilds, Aisha Hinds and Jill Hennessy dealing with the aftermath of a racially motivated shooting in a North Carolina town.
