This weekend, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the most anticipated movie in years, was finally released. And while JJ Abrams’ take on the franchise is a satisfying adventure on its own, in many ways it feels like set-up for what’s to come, stoking the fires of anticipation for the rest of the trilogy. The ending is almost cruel in how it teases us, making Episode VIII’s May 2017 release seem that much further away. Here are ten things to look forward to from episode VIII. The film stars Edgar Ramirez (Zero Dark Thirty, The Bourne Ultimatum, Carlos the Jackal) as Bodhi, and Luke Bracey as Johnny Utah, along with Teresa Palmer, Delroy Lindo, and Ray Winstone.

Tina Fey To Star In ‘Whiskey Tango Foxtrot’

Tina Fey plays a journalist recounting her time covering war events in Afghanistan and Pakistan inΒ Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. And if that sentence did not make you jump out of your seat, then there’s something wrong with you, and the only cure is more cowbell.

TheΒ SNLΒ alum will not be starring in a war drama, but rather, and to our relief, a war comedy, which will star a number of comedic actors including Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton, Margot Robbie, Josh Charles, Alfred Molina, Nicolas Braun, and Sheila Vand.

Directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the film was adapted by Robert Carlock based on Kim Barker’s memoir,Β The Taliban Shuffle,Β the journalist Fey will be portraying. Slated to have a March 4, 2016 debut, Freeman will star as a Scottish love interest for Fey’s character, both of whom are stuck covering the events unfold during the war.

Lorne Michaels comes in to produce, thus reuniting the Michaels-Fey-Carlock (writer and producer ofΒ 30 Rock)Β union that many have come to enjoy. The project started filming in New Mexico in February and is now in post production, so it should not be that long until we get some stills or teasers from the film.
