ELSZ Shakes up the queer music scene with latest single ‘Dark Room’
ELSZ, the experimental singer-songwriter-producer and harpist releases this new single at the tail end of Pride month. Dark Room explores issues of abandonment through toxic relationships and finding comfort in her queer community. The song is both meditative and reflective, with the phrase ‘I let go’ being repeated throughout the lyrics.
This New York-based artist has been compared to that of Bjӧrk, FKA Twigs, ABRA, and Kelela for her unique and experimental, avant-garde style. ELSZ says this of her music, “ I…create bodies of work that resonate not [only] on a political and social level, but on an emotional level for people…that’s where revolutions happen within ourselves.”
