The indie pop band Echosmith might sing about wanting to be like the “Cool Kids,” but last night they made a lucky group of their fans feel apart of the in crowd, especially if they rocked the color pink.

The chart topping group treated their fans to a free and exclusive concert to kick off Hard Rock’s Annual PINKTOBER campaign. The group’s performance, which took place at the Hard Rock Cafe in NYC, helped raise not only awareness, but funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The intimate venue allowed fans to be up close and personal with the band as they performed some of their favorite hits. The musical siblings  performed, “Bright,”  “Cool Kids” and their new song “Let’s Love.” They told fans they were working on new music and even invited a few on stage to celebrate their birthdays. Lead singer, Sydney, was shocked to learn that one fan in particular was turning 22 and couldn’t help herself, but belt out an  acapella rendition of Taylor Swift’s song, 22, with help from the crowd.

The group was clearly excited not only to perform for their fans, but to be named Hard Rock’s 2015 PINKTOBER Artist Ambassadors. They donated one of Sydney’s dresses and a guitar to Hard Rock’s world-famous memorabilia collection. The musical group wrapped up the night by signing autographs for fans.

From now til the end of October, Hard Rock will hold its 16th Annual PINKTOBER campaign. The campaign allows guests of Hard Rock to show their support for breast cancer research and awareness. Guests can show their support by purchasing pink merchandise, even pink drinks. Additionally, the Hard Rock will even display pink hotel amenities. Proceeds from the campaign go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
