As cute as they are, babies can be downright messy! Luckily, Dreft Laundry Detergent knows all about how to clean up those pasta and oatmeal stained bibs.
Yet still, the folks at Dreft know that no two messy babies are alike and somewhere out there, thereโs got to be the messiest of them all. Thatโs why the detergent brand partnered with actress and model, Molly Sims, to host the messiest baby competition.
On Tuesday, Dreft invited a few untidy infants to decorate cupcakes with the Las Vegas star and soon-to-be mom of three to kick start the competition.
ย โIโm probably their poster child,โ said Sims whoโs been using Dreft for over 4 years after her pediatricianโs recommendation. โThere was a period when [my son] had eczema so it was a really good sensitive detergent that we used and I ended up using it with Scarlett,โ she added.
Thereโs no surprise thatย Dreft chose Sims to work with them on the Messy Baby Contest alongside Parents Magazine. The mother of two, is a veteran when it comes to baby messes. They need her keen eye to find the messiest baby to don the cover in May 2017.
โI think itโs [the competition] cute. Some of my best moments with my babies are them being messy, and I think Dreft is such a good partner in making that.โ
Speaking of messy, Sims has loads of stories to share about messy play dates. Her daughter is now putting on her makeup, and between her son Brooks and her daughter Scarlett, sheโs dealt with blue berry smoothie accidents, avocado mishaps, and beyond. โItโs so gross,โ jokes Sims.
When Sims isnโt getting down and dirty with diapers, the philanthropist works alongside Baby2Baby helping to provide necessities to babies in need. โIโm an ambassador- an angel and I love being involved with them. My kids are involved and itโs a really important organization for me,โ explained Sims.
