The Invisible Collection debuts a of artworks carefully curated by Docent’s AI-powered recommendation system and aligned with the themes of Invisible Collection’s current exhibition with French designer Thierry Lemaire at their NYC Gallery.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is causing quite a stir across various sectors, and the excitement continues to grow. AI’s capabilities seem boundless, from enhancing images, to tools being used to create music, businesses are leveraging AI to optimize operations, predict market trends, and provide personalized customer experiences.

The Invisible Collection is taking advantage of the innovation by joining forces with Docent for a unique collaboration aimed at offering new ways to discover and collect artworks in dialogue with contemporary design, all made possible by AI technology. This unprecedented partnership establishes connections between esteemed artists from the Docent community and the visionary designers of Invisible Collection, facilitating an enriching dialogue between contemporary art and exceptional design.

“In every culture around the globe, art is integral to the aesthetic fabric of society, influencing the space we live in and the object that we live with. Our mission at Docent is to bring the widest audience of art enthusiasts towards talented artists shaping our contemporary world. Our platform makes art collection an inspiring journey, empowering art enthusiasts to confidently explore and acquire exceptional works by the most talented artists across various styles, origins, and eras. This collaboration with Invisible Collection is a seamless progression in Docent’s journey. Our algorithm will harmonize specific artworks with unique, custom-made furniture pieces, creating a dialogue between contemporary art and exceptional design” said  Hélène Nguyen Ban, founder of Docent.

We got to experience some of these pieces first-hand at their New York Gallery. The project blends artworks with extraordinary furniture pieces, offering collectors an immersive experience that encourages discovery and personal expression. What’s unique about Docent’s approach is that its algorithm draws from a catalog of thousands of works sources from top galleries and institutions.

“We created Invisible Collection for discerning collectors worldwide who were seeking furniture offerings that matched the quality and uniqueness of their art collections. All of our talents design furniture with these clients and collectors in mind; it’s precisely these collections that we’ve been presenting digitally since 2016 and in 4 physical galleries across Europe and the US since 2022. Drawing on our shared experiences at LVMH, my partnership with Hélène evolved naturally, fueled by a common aesthetic sensibility, entrepreneurial spirit, and a shared commitment to integrating technology with the arts. This first collaboration between Invisible Collection and Docent is very important to us, as New York is home to 50% of the world’s collectors” said  Isabelle Dubern-Mallevays, co-founder of Invisible Collection.

The exhibition can be viewed at the Invisible Collection Townhouse, 24 E 64th St, New York. Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
