The collection includedΒ long trench coats and blazers with asymmetrical designs, avant-garde collars and unique ruching.. Many pieces were innovative and futuristic keeping in tone with the theme, even the few classic silhouettes that were re-imagined and recreated with a futuristic twist.Β Before checking out the fabulous Denibi show, we went backstage to hear how the models achieved their looks.

Can you talk about the inspiration behind the look?
Basically they wanted two modern looks, one with a mid-part, straight very sleek and second one is a more contemporary look thatβs an updo and the way we did it was an updo with a braid intertwined into it so then it fits the style of the clothes really well. Weβre from & Hair Lounge, weβve got three salons in Manhattan, one in SoHo, one in the East Village and one in the West Side and weβve been doing shows for years.
Can you talk about the products youβre using?
Weβre sponsored by Wella so we use only Wella products. Weβve been using Dry Me and the Crafting Spray. Wellaβs been around for 75 years, theyβre like of the oldest hair product companies.
Chika Chan Lead makeup artist
Can you talk about the inspiration behind todayβs look?
The look is very minimalistic, we love the collection which is very crisp and clean and fresh so we wanted the makeup to be similar so what we did is created more of a boy brow to give even more character and we also used a little bit of a dewy glow for the face to blend well with the collection. The color pallets that we used are very similar to the collection itself.
Can you talk about the products you used?
We use Makeup Pro lip treatment on the skin to give it a dewy look, this lip treatment is one of our top sellers. We use Makeup Pro Mascara on the eyebrow to give it that messy boy brow and we use the neutral lip gloss that we have for the lip.
