Crust Nation, Rare Vibes AVClub, and iBoatNYC Ignite NFT.NYC Week

NFT.NYC took to the water last weekend in partnership with iBoatNYC and, well, it rocked. Partnering with Rare Vibes AV Club and Crust Nation for the 2022 NFT.NYC Week, the yacht festivities included art, music, and, of course, technology.

This marks the NFT.NYC debut of Rare Vibes AVClub, a community-led initiative created by a team of seasoned Web3 and blockchain professionals with the principle objective of providing industry-leading networking opportunities and high-end social experience

Last year, they took over Miami Art Basel week with Tier 1 performances from Major Lazer, Shepard Fairey, BASSJACKERS, and others. This year, in Miami, the community featured a star-studded DJ lineup of Diplo, BASSJACKERSM ATRAK, and Gianni Blu, as well as live NFT auctions and displays from industry-leading artists during the event.

The community was determined to outdo their previous efforts in the city that never sleeps last week, which was no small task. Spanning two key dates of NFT.NYC Week — Thursday, June 23rd and Friday, June 24th — Rare Vibes presented Mega Star DJs DON DIABLO and BLOND:ISH, as well as a panel discussion giving participants the opportunity to gain unique insights and access to the hottest crypto opportunities. BLOND:ISH is the Canadian producer and social media phenom also known as Vivie-ann BakosIn. DonDiablo is a musician/artist whose latest NFT project sold for $1.2 million through Sotheby’s in December of last year.

Concert producer Crust Nation organized the event in collaboration with iBoatNYC, the premier party and tour yacht operator in the Big Apple. In 2019, Crust Nation expanded its entertainment programming to include iBoatNYC, with 50 concerts created in exclusive partnership with Hornblower Cruises & Events. iBoatNYC is now the largest multi-genre concert destination on Manhattan’s waters with over 90 events planned for 2022 alone. It is known for fusing A-list talent, nightlife energy, and a vacation-like ambiance that reflects NYC’s culture, which made it an obvious choice for NFT.NYC events.

Notable attendees this year included executives from Pantera Capital, Jump Trading, Metamask, Seratonin, NFT.com, Upstream, and others. Partner Brands included Rare Vibes AVClub, DJ Lovers Club, Gummy Bear Vandals creator WhISBe, Meta Circus, and Crypto Assemblage. Sponsors were DAW, Crypto Tech Women, Token Society, Gay Aliens, Metawizard, Games Pad, and partner brands Glam Jam and NFT Goddesses.

With blockchain technologies like NFTs, crypto, and DAOs continuing to attract the interest of creators and consumers alike, Crust Nation is planning even splashier events for next year’s NFT conference.
