Destroy Lonely surprised fans with multiple unreleased tracks at his iconic Rolling Loud set.

Rolling Loud Day 2 was full of surprises, from special guests to unreleased music. Fans came back excited and ready to go for the second day of the festival. In addition to the performances, food and multiple activations, festivalgoers also had early access to the upcoming trailer of Rolling Loud The Movie, which was being screened at the Loud Theatre, in partnership with Cinemark and Sprite. The film is slated to hit theatres October 2 later this year. Starring Owen Wilson and Matt Rife, Rolling Loud The Movie will feature prominent figures in hip hop including: Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask The Slump God, and Ty Dolla $ign.

The second day of the festival included many more firsts. Molly Santana had a memorable set and helped usher in the next generation of artists by bringing North West onstage. The two even performed an unreleased collaborative track. This comes days after North West released her debut EP last week titled N0rth4evr. North West appeared in the audience and backstage for several artists’ performances, but this marked her Rolling Loud debut as a performer and she lived up to the expectations. It’s clear that creative talent runs in the family.

The night continued with even more surprises including Fakemink announcing a date for his debut album. In traditional English fashion Fakemink had two men posing as royal guards hold up a sign that read “Terrified 5.22” along with a flag of the United Kingdom. Later on in the evening, Rich The Kid closed out the Verizon Stage performances with an amazing set. He teased new music with Swae Lee and even brought out special guest Ty Dolla $ign to perform their collaborative record, “Carnival.” Additionally he also brought out Offset to perform his platinum hit, “Bad and Boujee.”

Carti currently holds the title for most headline performances at Rolling Loud, having performed six times. Although Playboi Carti was the main headliner for the Under Armour Stage, it’s safe to say that Destroy Lonely stole the show. While, Carti had the most anticipated set of the night and reunited the Opium collective, featuring both Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely, Lone’s nonstop surprises left fans speechless. Destroy Lonely performed three unreleased songs including “Hate Y’all,” “Monster” and “Paranormal” in addition to fan favorites like “NOSTYLIST.” However his show defining moment came when he brought special guests Snow Strippers onstage and played their unreleased, collaborative song “Carry My Wings.” As a disciple of Carti, Lone proved that he has what it takes to outshine his mentor.
