Craig Robinson stars in the new comedy series, Killing It on Peacock, which premiered on April 14th.
The series follows Robinson’s character Craig, who is trying to get a loan to invest in his dream business but consistently gets denied. He soon meets Claudia O’Doherty’s character Jullian, and the two partnered together to join The Florida Python Challenge competition. This challenge is common in Florida due to the high amounts of Burmese pythons that affect the ecosystem and threaten the native wildlife. The person or team that removes the most Burmese pythons wins a cash prize.
This series takes on a comedic perspective to discussions about class, capitalism, and the quest to achieve the American dream. This is depicted in multiple scenes and conversations about social issues, animal overpopulation, and family conflicts. The co-creator Dan Goor and executive producer Luke Del Tredici of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, have reunited with Robinson to create this show. The ten-episode series stars Rell Battle, Scott MacArthur, Stephanie Nogueras, Wyatt Walter, and Jet Miller. The cast spoke with our Correspondent Rebecca Eugene about the series and what fans and viewers can expect to see.
