I met this young lady while I was in Midtown having lunch. She walked by, and there was a glow about her—something undeniable. I left my table, walked over, and introduced myself. What followed was an hour-long conversation about the book she was reading at the moment. I shared a quote I had written, and in an almost divine synchronicity, both my words and the passage she shared from her book mirrored each other perfectly. It was a rare, meaningful connection. That was my first meeting with Constance Victory, and we’ve been connected ever since.
In the ever-evolving world of fashion, few designers manage to strike the perfect balance between elegance, versatility, and practicality. Constance Victory, the visionary behind Victoire Focx, is redefining luxury by merging high-quality craftsmanship with a deep sense of purpose. Her designs, including the sought-after BEAU bag, speak to a woman who values style with substance. But Victory’s influence extends beyond fashion—her movement “I Love You If You Love You” is creating a powerful community centered on self-love, truth, and empowerment.
As part of our Women’s History Month celebration, we spoke with Constance Victory about her inspirations, challenges as an entrepreneur, and how she’s building a legacy that extends beyond the runway.
The Birth of Victoire Focx
For Victory, the launch of Victoire Focx stemmed from a desire to provide elegant, affordable, and utilitarian handbags for women. Inspired by the contemporary architecture of Midtown Manhattan, a place she has grown to love over the past decade, her designs reflect both sophistication and everyday functionality.
“The essence of Victoire Focx is elegance meets versatility in a practical style. Over time, the brand has evolved into its own community of women who love style with substance, instead of flash,” she explains. “There’s a definite bohemian flow in the aesthetic, which mirrors my own lifestyle. I’m a low-key tree hugger!”
The BEAU Bag: A Nod to the Past, Designed for the Present
Among the standout designs in the Victoire Focx collection is the BEAU bag, a statement piece that is as functional as it is stylish.
“The BEAU bag is an oversized shopper that was inspired by a photo of Cher in the 1970s—she was carrying this large, effortless bag that caught my eye,” Victory shares. “I took that inspiration and created an even larger version, with the ability to fold over and reduce its size depending on the wearer’s needs.”
What truly sets Victoire Focx bags apart is their transformative nature.
“Each bag can be restyled into at least three different looks using detachable and interchangeable hardware,” she explains. The collection embraces earth tones and cross-seasonal styles, making each piece a lasting investment.

Breaking Barriers as a Woman Entrepreneur
While Victory has built a thriving brand, she reflects on the challenges she faced as a young entrepreneur in fashion.
“I wouldn’t say I’ve faced challenges specifically because I’m a woman, but I did experience age bias early on,” she admits. “Investors, manufacturers, and buyers were surprised by my confidence at such a young age—and some doubted me because of it. But that actually worked in my favor, because it pushed me to self-finance and learn every part of the industry from the ground up.”
Sustainability is also a core value of Victoire Focx. Every bag is handmade in small batches by a dedicated team of artisans, ensuring both quality and exclusivity.
“Limited production helps me maintain a personal connection with my clients while preserving the craftsmanship behind each piece.”
“I Love You If You Love You”: A Movement Rooted in Self-Love
Beyond fashion, Victory is also the creator of “I Love You If You Love You”, a movement dedicated to self-love, reflection, and positive action.
“Love isn’t just a feeling—it’s an action that’s reflected in everything around us,” she says. “When you truly love yourself, that love naturally radiates outward. And I believe love is the most abundant, self-replenishing resource—more so than air, water, or even food.”
Looking ahead, she envisions the movement growing into a community-driven space where people can uplift and support one another.
“I’m working on a book and a podcast to further explore these themes,” she reveals. “It’s an exciting time for both me and the people who resonate with this message.”
The Future of Victoire Focx & Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
So what’s next for Victoire Focx? Victory is committed to staying true to her roots in elegance, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
“I want to maintain that personal touch—perhaps even open a boutique storefront that shares space with an ‘I Love You If You Love You’ podcast studio where I can host book readings and self-development discussions.”
For young women looking to break into fashion and business, she offers one key piece of advice: master communication and negotiation.
“My biggest lesson? Communication skills are everything. They build connection, trust, and strong relationships in both business and life,” she emphasizes. “And the ability to negotiate ensures that you and your business remain in a position of strength and opportunity.”
Her top book recommendations? Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss and any book on communication by John C. Maxwell.
