This past Thursday at the Pacific Grove Theatres at the Grove in West Hollywood, California, The Knockturnal was invited to the premiere of Saban’s thriller film, Come and Find Me.
The film stars Aaron Paul, Annabelle Wallis, and Zachary Knighton, and was directed by Zach Whedon. This was Zach’s first film – so the cast and crew were stocked to help bring his vision to life.
Many celebrity guests came to support the film, such as writer/director Joss Whedon, Albert Hammond Jr, Weston Cage, Arden Myrin, Kate Flannery, Izabella Miko, Kara Del Toro, Natalie Pack, Rosalind Lipsett, Sean Stone, Romina Laino, Josh Sussman, Christina Wren, Usman Ally, director Rebecca Thomas, Mike Anderson, Maddi Bragg, Nick Colletti, Jamie Costa, Daniel Fernandez, Laci Green, Zane Hijazi, Alexis Joy, Sara Sandoval, Cat Valdes, and Jimmy Wong.
We were lucky enough to speak one on one with Aaron about his thoughts on the film! Check it out!
How did you get involved in the project?
It was sent to me, it was on my desk. and I knew it was coming in and I had heard it was on the 2012 black list. I knew it was going to be a really interesting script, so I opened it up on my phone planning to only read the first 10 pages, and about an hour and a half later I was done with it. I knew I had to meet with Zach. So about an hour after having some beers with Zach I knew I wanted to do it.
Did you relate to this film?
Yes, it’s like what would you do if the love of your life disappeared? And so he goes to the end of the earth to find out what happened. He goes to hell and back. I really related to the guy and that’s why I wanted to jump into his skin.
Is there one thing you want viewers to take away from the film?
Oh man…yeah. If the love of your life goes missing, go and hunt her down.
After the film, we hit up the after party at Umami Burger, for some wine, beer, and delicious burgers, of course!
We recommend checking out the film…you can watch the trailer here:
