Cheaper DJ Equipment Still Keeping Essential Features

Earlier this year Marshmello had a live concert for millions of players on Fortnite inspiring many younger kids to dive into music.

While some kids have this dream, however, they have no equipment to do so because their parents are hesitant to buy a piece of equipment that can run them over easily into the thousands.

Some of you might have dreams of sliding into the entertainment industry but never do. For some when they were younger, the bit about some parents not buying them equipment hits too close to home.  For others, they just realized they wanted to do music now, but can’t afford any of the equipment (or to take off from work). The bottom line it’s costly for both time and money.

On the bright side, a lot of companies can see that and want to help lower the barrier of entry for many people who have the dream of being a part of the music industry. The Pioneer DDJ-200 lowers the price and keeps all the essentials for mixing live music.

The DDJ-200 is great for anyone especially kids because of the compatibility and usability. Firstly, it comes with a free app that allows you to play any songs on your iPhone or iPad live all through bluetooth, but also connects with any PC and works well with rekordbox.

The tutorial online is also very simple, taking you through every step. This is great for either older users who may not be internet savvy, as well as children who may not understand all the technical music jargon.

The controller itself is very light, so it fits in a backpack for easy mobility. It still has everything you need, the turntables, 16 performance pads, and an auto transition mode that allows you to step away if you need to. Overall, it makes music easier while still making you look cool making it.

The Pioneer DDJ-200 is now available for $149.

WeDJ is available on the App Store and Google Play.
