There is never a bad time to sit down and have a margarita.
National Margarita Day is finally here. And if you’re like me, you love celebrating any boozy holiday. Luckily, Tequila Cazadores has some of the perfect tequila based cocktail recipes that are easy to make and extremely delicious. And to make things even better, Tequila Cazadores has created an updated bottle design to celebrate their anniversary of creating real tequila for real people
Our first cocktail is called the Cazadores Margarita. This is your run-of-the-mill margarita except with using Tequila Cazadores Blanco, you get a great burst of that pure agave flavor while still having a smooth and refreshing margarita.
Cazadores Margarita
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Blanco
- ½ oz. Premium Triple Sec
- ½ Agave Nectar
- 1 oz. Lime
Method: In a cocktail shaker with ice combine all the ingredients, shake and serve over the rocks in glass.
Garnish: with lime and salt optional.
Next, we have the Highland Margarita which is made with Tequila Cazadores Reposado. This cocktail is very similar to the traditional margarita except with the added grapefruit juice which gives this cocktail a very special brightness to it that really enhances the natural flavors from the tequila!
Highland Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Tequila Cazadores Reposado
- 1 oz. Agave Nectar
- 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- 4 oz. Grapefruit Juice
- 1 Lime Wheel
Method: In a cocktail shaker with ice combine all the ingredients, shake and serve over the rocks in a bucket glass.
Garnish: With lime, grapefruit slice and salt optional.
For the last cocktail, we have one of my favorite types of margaritas, the jalapeno margarita. This one is made with Tequila Cazadores Blanco and is definitely for those people who enjoy a nice kick with their drink. The addition of the jalapeno slice in the drink gives a great natural heat that slowly builds up as you take more sips.
Jalapeño Margarita
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ part Tequila Cazadores Blanco
- ½ part Premium Triple Sec
- ½ part Agave Nectar
- 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 Slice of Jalapeño
Method: In a cocktail shaker with ice combine all the ingredients, shake and serve over the rocks in glass.
Garnish: with lime, jalapeño slice and salt optional
And lastly, we have one of our favorite genres of cocktails, the canned cocktail. And Tequila Cazadores has two specialty tequila cocktails ready and waiting to go. The first one is a regular margarita flavor. And the second is for those who enjoy a spicy margarita moment. Both cans are made with Tequila Cazadores Blanco, is gluten free, has no artificial flavors, and has a great 5.9% ABV. All of that put together leads to a fun night with a nice buzz!
