Pulling inspiration from the incredibly successful #mycalvins campaign, Calvin Klein Home Has launched the Modern Cotton Bedding line.
The line, which is exclusive to Bloomingdale’s until August 1st, features key elements from the CK underwear that sparked the iconic “I _____ in #mycalvins” campaign. Each piece, from printed duvet cases, fitted sheets, pillowcases, and throws features an element that references the underwear. The sheets and throw utilize the signature branded waistband that makes Calvin Klein so recognizable, while other pieces are printed with a new, cropped Calvin Klein logo.
To celebrate the launch of Modern Cotton Bedding, Calvin Klein teamed up with the Bloomingdale’s flagship store in New York City to host a breakfast and window unveiling. Guests were treated to mimosas or coffee with French toast bites, avocado toast, stuffed grape tomatoes, and berry tarts before the store opened. A model bed was set up to display the line in a bedroom environment. Guests were invited to pose on the bed and have photobooth style photos and gifs taken of them. After breakfast, the Bloomingdale’s windows at the 60th Street and Lexington Avenue entrance were unveiled revealing two more model beds set up in another bedroom style space. YouTube stars Arden Rose and Will Darbyshire did a Q&A from inside the windows with fans in line for a meet and greet after the unveiling. They asked for suggestions for New York activities and food, discussed their love for the Modern Cotton Bedding line, which they use in their own home, and doled out many a shout out.
Each piece from the ultra-soft collection ranges from $35 to $240 and is exclusively available at Bloomingdale’s from July 7th. Starting August 1st, the collection will be available in other retailers nationwide. For a full look at the line head to the Bloomingdale’s website.
