The Knockturnal was able to talk to the experts themselves last week to learn about both the mission and science behind this pioneer skincare product line. One unique attribute the skincare line focuses on is the fact that melanin-rich skin is more likely to get dark spots, or hyperpigmentation, rather than wrinkles as a sign of aging. This is why the duo created the brand’s proprietary Even Tone Defender technology, which is a unique blend of clinically proven ingredients like Indian gooseberry (a potent antioxidant), Rainbow algae (protects against environmental damage), and Cacao extract (boosts radiance).
In Dr. Abhijit Desai’s own words, “Our mission is to bring brown-skin people together to understand their skin and love it; we need to create a common thread between them.
