Brandy Norwood and Cast of ‘Chicago’ Perform at 106.7 Lite FM’S Broadway in Bryant Park

New Yorkers spent a beautiful afternoon outside enjoying the second week of 106.7 LITE FM’s Broadway in Bryant Park, a free lunchtime series featuring On- and Off- Broadway performances throughout the summer.

The second edition of the series was emceed by 106.7 LITE FM’s fan-favorite personality Christine Nagy alongside 39 Steps. Recording artist Brandy Norwood performed at the event with the cast of Chicago. The cast stole the stage and closed the show with hits “Roxie” and “All That Jazz.” Read what Brandy told us exclusively on the red carpet:

Would you say you are more at home when you’re singing or acting?

Brandy: Oh both! God has blessed me with both expressions. I love both and it’s so great that I get a chance to do it together on Broadway!

When you made your subway debut, were you expecting such a frenzy?

Brandy: No, it was just supposed to be for my blog [thenextbrandyblog.com] and just showing the fans a different side of who I am, the funny side. I just took a dare and got on the subway and sang and it’s like huge with everyone talking about it. That’s great cause you never know when something like that is going to happen. It’s all about creating a memory and having fun and trying to make Frank laugh and everybody seems to be laughing abut it; so that’s great.
