BMI presents “Know Them Now Unplugged” With Kiana Ledé

Kiana Ledé is most certainly an artist to look out for!

Her sultry, smooth and eclectic voice proves that although R&B is changing, it definitely isn’t going anywhere! On Tuesday, September 18th BMI presented their first “Know Them Now Unplugged” with Kiana Lede at the highly exclusive and reputable Soho House West Hollywood. BMI is a global leader in music rights management, serving as an advocate for the value of music. The musical compositions in BMI’s repertoire, from chart toppers to perennial favorites, span all genres of music and are consistently among the most-performed hits of the year. This listening session serves to create an environment where artists, songwriters, producers and tastemakers listen to new music by up-and-coming talent.

Kiana Ledé is a singer, songwriter, actress and pianiast based in Los Angeles, CA. She began singing at just 16 months old with her ABCs and couldn’t stop from there. With the support of her mother, she was able to hone in on her skills by attending art school which eventually led her to start working on her career professionally by the age of 16. While inspired by some of the most iconic divas of all time such as Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera, Lede´ looks up to Brandy and Alicia Keys vocally. Lede’s music tells stories that are authentic and real, relatable music that any generation can connect with. Through her intimate live performance it is apparent that her music comes from her soul. In July, Lede´ released her debut EP called, Selfless which has seven tracks about her journey through heartbreak and self reflection.
