If anyone learned something from this week’s BMF, that is how Meech got his nickname in a very NSFW sex scene at the strip club.
I cannot lie, I laughed too hard after the scene played as it came off as hysterical as it can. Now when the causal audience think of his name, it will be this scene. With that out of the way, this episode is a prime example to never leave your guard down.
Lamar killing Monique was something I was expecting to happen in the next season. But here, it made sense as he suspected her turning on him, which is why he did not try the drugs that she gave him since it was tampered with. It also makes me question why she did not have her gun at this time as she did the whole season. Her daughter is going to be devastated once she finds out that Lamar did this. But that was not the only death we got on this episode as Ty Washington got his, which was sad in itself.
The standout scene for this week’s BMF is the scene between Meech, Southwest T, and B-Mickie towards the end. It is the first time that the three actors showed a range of emotions during this scene as opposed to the tough gangster monologue. I must say that it really made me feel for all three as they did not want to see anymore people die. Still, B-Mickie should have been punished.
Another standout scene is Lucille confronting Mabel. This was a long time coming and everything Lucille said to her about the affair with Charles is 100% spot on. I love how this was acted as it was a slow build to this mega blowoff during the season. This must mean that the two are divorcing very soon.
There is one more episode of BMF this year as it airs next week. I hope to see many loose ends wrapped up on the finale.
