Backstage With TRESemmé And Jonathon Simkhai At NYFW AW 2020

Jonathon Simkhai and stylist Odile Gilbert teamed up with TRESemmé to create strength with a twist at NYFW.

Early Monday morning at Spring Studios, stylists and makeup artists were busy prepping models for LA-based designer Jonathon Simkhai’s runway show for AW 2020. To complement his stunning designs, Simkhai teamed up with TRESemmé and renowned stylist Odile Gilbert to create powerful double twisted braids with a rope effect.

“We wanted the models to look strong and tough but still elegant. We pulled the hair back and double twisted it for a rope effect before braiding the bottom for a chic finish” says Gilbert.
