Kate Spade held their FW19′ New York Fashion Week show on Friday, February 8th and I got a backstage look and all the NYFW excitement.
When it comes to NYFW there are so many exciting new things to keep up with; the trends, the clothes, the makeup, and my personal favorite THE HAIR! Thanks to TRESemmé I got to hang out backstage to see what TRESemmé’s NYFW hairstylist Odile Gilbert had in store for Kate Spade FW19′.
Odile worked some high fashion hair magic with three ’70s inspired looks. The ” ’70s Sophisticate” was the first look done by Odile. “The blow-dry is a bit old fashioned like Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface” Odile stated when sharing a little more about her inspiration.
For the second look, Odile went with a 70’s wave. “The waves are more modern where the hair is lighter, not stiff, and natural looking.” For the final look, Odile shared that she went for classic “Diana Ross” big hair.

Step 1: Start by washing hair with the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner to create a sleek and smooth foundation.

For my naturally wavy and curly girls, try using a large barrel curling iron to create tighter curls on the ends. Spray hair with the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray for added shine, then brush through curls to create a natural look.
