The Austin-based canned cocktail company, Austin Cocktails hosted an evening of pickleball and bites courtesy of Campbell & Co. at Court 16 down in New York City’s Financial District. After an hour of pickleball led by Court 16 instructors, alongside Austin Cocktails’ very own Jill Burns, guests mixed and mingled over cans of Austin Cocktails. Flavors to choose from included Bergamot Orange Margarita, Fred’s Ruby Red Cocktail, and Cucumber Vodka Mojito. At the end of the night, guests were gifted a swag bag equipped with summer essentials, including a pickle ball paddle, Burt’s Bees face wipes, a hair tie, sweatband, and three cans of Austin Cocktails to bring home.
Austin Cocktails was founded by sisters Jill Burns and Kelly Gasink. Founded under the ethos of “keeping the tradition flowing,” the sisters were inspired by their farmer grandfather, Fred, who gathered friends and family at 5 pm on summer nights after a long day working in the Texan fields for “cocktail time.” Now with Austin Cocktails, the sisters hope to create more “cocktail times” for families and friends across America year round—all you have to do is open your fridge, crack a can and enjoy.
