All-star soundtrack accompanying the movie is now available for pre-order and will feature a number of new tracks from Ice Cube, Common & more.
While we’re gearing up for the April 15 nationwide premiere of the new Barbershop: The Next Cut, Atlantic Records announced its release of the soundtrack accompanying the motion picture. The record is scheduled for April 8, 2016, but you can pre-order it today here. As an extra to your pre-order, you’ll get to listen to the lead movie track, ‘Real People’ by Ice Cube and Common.
Barbershop: The Next Cut (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) will feature a debut single by the Atlantic Records signee, Lizzo. ‘Good As Hell,’ produced by Ricky Reed, sounds like it’s about to be the new feel-good track of the summer 2016.
The soundtrack also includes such tracks as CeeLo Green’s “Working Class Heroes (Work).” Originally found on the GRAMMY Award-winning Green’s 2015 Atlantic release, “HEART BLANCHE” – is joined by a brand new official companion video out now. Watch it here.
It looks like the 10 year wait for the next part of Barbershop was worth it and we can expect not only great on-screen performances from Ice Cube, Nicki Minaj and Common, but the soundtrack might become one of the favorites of 2016 outdoor season.
