A special GNC event in New York City featuring Ashley Parker Angel, formerly O-Town Band, and his High Level Science supplement drew huge crowds with a line wrapping around the block
High Level Science announced its online and in-store partnership with GNC and Ashley is currently on a “Making the Brand” nationwide GNC tour, where he’s visiting over 700 GNC stores this year The experience felt especially meaningful ash he wants thank fans and talk High Level Science.
During our conversation, we asked Ashley about a fun old-school fitness rivalry between Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and O-TOWN. He laughed and said “everyone would watch and probably place bets.” He still picked O-TOWN t win and said he would feel proud to lead his crew.
Ashley also shared a deeper part of his journey. He said he learned a lot about wellness through music, touring, and Broadway.
He performed in major productions like Wicked the Musical and Hairspray, doing eight shows a week and more than 2,000 performances total. That lifestyle taught him discipline, recovery, and balance. It also shaped how he thinks about long-term health.

He shared a mantra he lives by “you can have everything you want in life, just not all at the same time.” He explained that life moves in chapters. Because of that, he believes focus matters. He said you have to go all in for a period of time. That is when real progress happens. He also said it is hard to juggle everything at once.
That mindset helped shape High Level Science. He said the brand came from a mission to bring intention back into supplementation. He wanted it to feel simple, focused, and purposeful.
Ashley also spoke about his son, Lyric, who is 20. He said he does not force him into the gym. Instead, he encourages him to start small and build habits over time. He also shared that Lyric stays active, and they often go hiking and snowboarding together.
Over time, Ashley said he became passionate about teaching what he has learned. He said he loves helping people improve their health. That purpose now defines this chapter of his life.
