Afropunk recently announced its 2016 lineup which seems bigger and better than ever. On August 27th-28th, three separate stages will be lit up with some of today’s most eclectic acts like:

Lion Babe
Young Fathers
To only name a few, more than 60 acts are set to perform. Afropunk is held at Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn. This multicultural two-day event features a celebration of fashion, music and an array of eclectic aesthetics. Not only is this festival musically based, it is also home to artist and curators from all over. Afropunk opens up an avenue for individuals to display their talents like no other venue can. This years theme is “Power to The Party.”
With an array of artists and a crowd just as diverse as this lineup, this festival is one you don’t want to miss.
