A First Look At ‘Bumblebee’ – The ‘Transformers’ Spinoff

The year was 1987 when Bumblebee found refuge in the Californian junkyard.

Paramount Pictures has released the first official look on the upcoming Transformers spinoff, Bumblebee. Starring Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Edge of Seventeen), Pamela Adlon (Better Things) and John Cena (Daddy’s Home), the movie is set in 1987 where Bumblebee being on the run, back then a rusty yellow Volkswagen bug, finds refuge in the Californian junkyard.

Found by nearly 18-year-old Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), Bumblebee is revived and Charlie quickly learns it’s no ordinary car.

Bumblebee, executive produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Travis Knight hits theaters on December 21, 2018.
