September 23, 2016, The Magnificent Seven,Β remake of 1960 film by the same title, will be released in cinemas nationwide. The Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures’ and Columbia Pictures’ production stars Denzel WashingtonΒ (Training Day, American Gangster), Ethan HawkeΒ (Training Day, Boyhood), Chris PrattΒ (Her, Jurassic World), Vincent D’Onforio (Jurassic World, The Break-Up), Manuel Garcia-RulfoΒ (Cake), Byung-Hun LeeΒ (RED 2) andΒ Martin SensmeierΒ (Salem).
The film directed by Antoine FuquaΒ with theΒ screenplay is by Nic Pizzolatto and Richard Wenk and produced byΒ Roger Birnbaum and Todd Black tells a classic western tale. With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns – Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier).Β As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.
