Boss Selection has just released a new song with Rashida Jones, the woman we all know and love from such entertainment classics like Parks And Rec and Angie Tribeca. And now, with this new project, she, as well as Pete Yorn, ORELIA, James Gadsen, John Gold, Young Dad, Hugh Masekela, Brenda Russell, and more, are all guests on Boss Selection’s Volume One, which comes out December 8, 2015.

Boss Selection, aka, LA producer/recording artist Sunny Levine, will release his debut album which was written and recorded by Levine. The album features a number of songs, including “Flip And Rewind” which features Jones, which is the second track on the album. “Wouldn’t It Be Wild” is the first track, which features ORELIA and has already premiered via Earmilk.

Levine has previously worked with plenty of artists, including some that are featured on his debut album. A California based record producer, he has worked with the likes of Pete Yorn, Scarlett Johansson, Haunted Grafitti of Ariel Pink, Happy Mondays, and many more. He also previously worked with Jones on the film Celeste and Jesse Forever, by composing the score and writing original songs for the film, which also stars Andy Samberg, Elijah Wood, and Emma Roberts.

Catherina Gioino

Catherina "Cat" Gioino is a native New Yorker, a huge movie buff and an amateur pizzaiolo. She currently works in transportation policy in New York, and previously was a breaking news reporter for the New York Daily News, and had stints at MSNBC, NY1, PBS and the Queens Gazette-- and was at The Knock since the beginning. When she's not biking around her hometown of Astoria or testing out the train system of another country, you can find her slinging wine and drinks at a friend's local bar.
