The Live Out Loud’s 25th Anniversary Gala celebrated advocacy, mentorship, and LGBTQ+ youth empowerment in New York City.
It was a grand event that brought together leaders across entertainment, media, business, philanthropy who gathered with pride to support this important cause.

The event honored several changemakers whose work continues to create visibility and opportunity across industries. Honorees included Eboni K. Williams receiving the Champion Award, legendary Tony Award-winning actor André De Shields receiving the Legend Award, Beth Brinkman receiving the Luminary Award, and Day Pitney LLP receiving the Corporate Excellence Award. Each took time to address the importance of the advocacy work that truly has an impact on lives that matter.

Another highlight of the evening was celebrating scholarship recipients Rae Molina, Bailey Richards, and Najah Flemming, who shared heartfelt stories about the importance of mentorship, support, and community. The moment served as a reminder of the important work Live Out Loud continues to do by helping LGBTQ+ youth feel seen, supported, and inspired instead of isolated or overlooked.
Hosted by Shequida Hall, the gala also featured performances by Charles Browning along with Nicholas Ryan Gant and Vocal Energy Choir. All together, it brought so much harmony joy and uplifted the overall gala.
This year’s gala was made possible with support from sponsors including Pfizer, BET Media, Colgate-Palmolive Company, NBCUniversal, and Day Pitney LLP, helping make the evening not only a celebration of Live Out Loud’s legacy, but a reflection of the organization’s continued commitment to creating safer and more empowering spaces for LGBTQ+ youth nationwide.
