Michelin-starred chef Dani García brings his much-celebrated Spanish flair to Los Angeles with Casa Dani, a Century City newcomer that captures Andalusian warmth through modern, Mediterranean design and bold, flavor-driven dishes that are simultaneously innovative and Instagram-ready.

The chef is a fixture throughout Spain’s culinary scene, with a dozen or so restaurants across the country and a reputation for blending bold innovation with Andalusian tradition. His first foray into the U.S. came in 2013 with Manzanilla in New York City, and now he’s brought his unique vision to Los Angeles.

The concept: “Casa Dani” literally means “Dani’s House.” It feels like the kind of spot where LA’s food scene meets corporate lunches and celebratory dinners.

Appetizers

The Oxtail Brioche is a menu favorite across the board (and one of mine) with two burger-style sliders for the dinner appetizer that fuses Spanish technique and a playful approach. If you’re into ‘elevated comfort’ food like the rest of LA, this is so your jam.

The Zucchini Chips were another fave and might also be one of the restaurant’s big sleeper hits: thin, airy fried zucchini dusted with a little cheese. Each bite hits that addictive balance of salty and sweet, the kind of vegetable that even people who swear they don’t like vegetables would probably want to demolish before the main courses arrive. In a lineup of paella, wagyu, and tuna carpaccio, these chips actually steal some of the spotlight.

The Tomato Tartare is a signature dish that is a re-imagining of tomatoes, served in a tartare style that reflects Chef Dani Garcia’s modern Andalusian approach. Refreshing and not overly heavy, it pairs well with any upcoming paella or main dish without overshadowing it.

Entrees

Let’s just admit that you’re never going to go to Casa Dani for the first time and *not* try this dish. (*Unless, of course, you’re allergic to fish). And even then, you’ll probably see it on the table next to you. That’s because the Andalusian-style Tuna Porterhouse Carpaccio has been gracing your foodie social feeds this year for a reason.

Paellas are another big hit. Choose between Chicken, Seafood, or a 16-oz Australian Wagyu Ribeye Paella. A dish that celebrates both land and tradition, it’s indulgent, aromatic, and undeniably luxurious.

Desserts

Playful and Instagram-ready, this Churro is five steps ahead of any churro you’ve ever tasted — and so, clearly, a standout of the menu. Served with a dollop of house-made ice cream, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream (all on the side), this reimagined classic is just delightful to share with a table for an end-of-meal pleaser. You could also try the Roasted Pineapple with Passionfruit Yogurt for a lighter, but still delicious option.
