The hilarious spy comedy loved by millions – Spy x Family takes its action-packed movie, SPY x FAMILY CODE: White, to the big screen with Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, offering both English dub or Japanese dub with subtitles out April 19.
Meet both master spy Loid Forger and deadly assassin Yor Forger who lead seemingly normal lives. Loid constantly risks his life on missions, while Yor, known for her adorable yet fierce demeanor, secretly eliminates threats.
Their adopted daughter, Anya, a loveable goofball, and their prophetic dog, Bond, complete the unconventional family. Anya adds another layer of secrecy with her mind-reading abilities.
In SPY x FAMILY CODE: White, the Forgers embark on a “weekend getaway” that’s actually a secret mission for Loid. Their seemingly ordinary task – retrieving a special cake for Anya’s teacher – is tied to Operation Strix, Loid’s current mission. Anya’s usual antics lead to hilarious mishaps and thrilling encounters, with a touch of romance thrown in for good measure, giving us all the fan service!
The film masterfully blends absurdity with genuine intrigue, keeping you on the edge of your seat while you laugh at the family’s bizarre situations. It expands on the anime’s established family dynamics and explores the relationship between Loid and Yor and Anya remains her lovable, quirky self, and the movie even manages to make poop jokes funny!
The North American debut of the film is on April 19th! Enjoy it in theaters with either the original Japanese audio and English subtitles or the brand new English dub.
Directed by Takashi Katagiri with a screenplay by Ichiro Ohkouchi and based on Tatsuya Endo’s manga, the film benefits from the combined talents of WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks, studios behind hits like Attack on Titan (Seasons 1-3) and Black Butler: Public School Arc.
