On October 11th, Talya Bendel and Esty Haas present their traditional grandeur inspired collaboration for New York Fashion Week Bridal, at the neo-gothic styled Wool Worth Building in Tribeca.
The Roman style coffered ceilings of the historic building complement the ornately anachronistic presentation beautifully. The material subtleties of the gowns is, like Edwardian lace and intricate corsetry, pose the true antiquity of this collaboration.
โMany expressive themes and places are suggested in the design elements,โ says Bendel.
Bendel and Haas accrue a disparately fresh assembly of women to model the delicate collection. Weโre graced with a fortress of models ornamented in striking bridal looks like Cinderella, a luminous ball gown style dress, and Pearls of Wisdom Ballerina, a darling yet refined ballet-esque gown.
โThis collection is meant to make you feel like you are in the presence of greatness,โ adds Bendel.
Talya Bendel โ Haas Bridal collaboration proceeds with Haasโs conspicuous milieu in Hasidic custom bridalwear, and Bendelโs 15-year tenure in the fashion industry, costume and wardrobe styling for television and film.
Haas and Bendel are wielded by their Hasidic and Orthodox backgrounds and their ardor for unique and timeless design.
