NEW YORK, NY – This past Thursday, ESW Beauty hosted a party at Chelsea’s The Rose to celebrate the launch of their new smoothie-inspired lip treatments.
Powered by clean, cruelty-free, and vegan ingredients, these lip treatments come in a set of three: white pitaya coconut, guava mango, and vanilla almond butter.
At the event, guests entered a pink world featuring actual smoothies (containing the same ingredients as their lip treatments), hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and immersed themselves fully in the brand.
In the main room, guests got the opportunity to experience the newly launched lip treatments. Each one is lightly fragranced and has a sheen corresponding to the color of its ingredients.
The guava mango left a berry pink cast and had a light, fruity scent to it – perfect for an on-the-go option as it rejuvenates your complexion by adding some color to your lips. The white pitaya coconut was creamy and rich – while colorless, it serves as a perfect sheen to layer on top of all-natural or tinted lips. As for the vanilla almond butter, it evoked toasty and fall vibes and had a strong caramel tint to it.
All three had the texture of a lip gloss (yet without the stickiness) combined with an overnight lip sleeping mask. They moisturized lips without any heaviness and kept them replenished and supple throughout the night.
Guests also heard from the founder of the brand, Elina Sofia Wang, who spoke to her motivation behind starting ESW Beauty – seeking to create a brand that matched her own wellness journey and foray into a clean, vegan, and cruelty-free philosophy.
ESW Beauty is also known for spotlighting the exact ingredients used in their products, giving consumers full transparency upfront. Their line of sheet masks, which were also featured at this event, include scents like ‘vanilla oat milk’ or ‘pineapple kiwi pear ginger’. A new collection of these are also set to be released later this fall and winter, which guests got a sneak peek of.
