Celebrate this amazing holiday right.
National Cocktail Day is March 24th, and it is one of our favorite “holidays” out there. There is not better day than a day dedicated to making some of the most innovative and delicious cocktails around. And even if you aren’t a trained bartender, there is still plenty of opportunities to show off your spirit skills. And fortunately, we have a few simple, easy, and delicious cocktail recipes for you to try out yourself.
With the warm weather slowly arriving, we wanted to start with a chance to keep the winter energy alive. The first drink is called the Maple Old Fashioned and is exactly how it sounds. Adding a little maple syrup into an Old Fashioned is a great way to add some nice sweetness that pairs well with the woodiness of the whiskey. And if you are thinking about this drink, we recommend making it with WhistlePig Rye Whiskey which has an amazing flavor profile that takes an Old Fashioned to the next level. And as an added bonus, WhistlePig has their own Barrel Aged Maple Syrup and Maple Bitters that compliments the whiskey so well. This Maple Old Fashioned is a perfectly balanced cocktail of strength, sweetness and spice.

The canned cocktail renaissance is still going strong and if you are a fan of a cocktail on the go, one of our favorites is Fishers Island Lemonade. This drink is an award-winning spike lemonade cocktail in a can that is the perfect way to ring in the warm weather. On top of that, Fishers Island also has Spirit Popsicles that offers a sweet treat that still brings in the buzz. Fishers Island has five different flavors and each flavor brings a unique and delicious flavor profile with it.
- Fishers Island Lemonade: A top-selling, full-flavor craft cocktail in a can, the original FIL recipe, a dual-spirits base, combining premium vodka, barrel-aged whiskey, lemon and honey, continues to lead the charge within the canned cocktail category.
- Fishers Spiked Tea: A new twist on a classic, featuring a perfectly balanced half-and-half blend of the base spiked lemonade with fresh black tea.
- Fishers Pink Flamingo: Born out of incredible demand, this delicious blend combines the original vodka and barrel-aged whiskey spiked lemonade with all-natural cranberry juice.
- Fishers Fizz: A lighter, effervescent version of the original premium vodka and barrel-aged whiskey spiked lemonade recipe.
- Fishers Spirit Pops: A unique, fun, and innovative offering to enjoy the great taste and flavor of FIL, but as a refreshing, frozen treat. The spirit pops are made with premium vodka, barrel-aged whiskey, lemon, and honey for a premium experience.
