We’ve got you covered with your Memorial Day Weekend listening. Check out some of our favorite recent releases, including Wolvero, Nya Bloom, Nicholson, and more.

Wolvero – Hit List ft. Dread MC [3000 Bass]

Wolvero’s knack for crafting quality house beats stems from a robust musical experience in his earlier years when he played in a heavy metal band. Linking with Dread MC, Wolvero’s latest prime club-ready weapon is a master lesson in meticulous four-on-the-floor production from start-to-finish. With a consistent percussive tone, the driving basslines and roaring intensity perfectly complement the heady grit of Dread MC’s commanding vocals. An accomplished master of bass house, Wolvero’s skillful mastery of the genre is flawlessly highlighted in ‘Hit List’.

Nya Bloom – Need You

“Need You” is the second single of Nya Bloom’s 4-part debut project Exhale, releasing in Summer of 2020. Exploring motifs of love, loss, and ultimate acceptance, finding respite in breath is the key to a full exhale.

SNSES – Cycles ft. Karra

Weaving a sonic journey into serene sound, SNSES blends uplifting indie electronic elements with captivating pop vocals to deliver “Cycles” featuring Karra. A track once sitting as a sweet demo birthed itself into the music world after just one studio session. Chalked up to synergy and skill, “Cycles” is the beautiful brainchild of SNSES, the California based creative making twinkly, inspiring sound. An ode to breaking past toxic phases of life, “Cycles” aims to encourage listeners to rise up against ultimately unhealthy relationships. Featuring a mirage of dance music and breezy pop elements, “Cycles” featuring Karra is SNSES at his best.

Jam & Spoon – Right In The Night (Nicholson Remix)

Adding to an already unparalleled 2020 discography, trance veteran Nicholson returns to deliver a heart-fluttering re-work of Jam & Spoon’s 1993 hit ‘Right in the Night’. The exotic Middle Eastern rhythm and flair from the original is left much intact but is accentuated by Nicholson’s signature heavy synth-laden sensibilities. Plavka’s profoundly rich vocals are still very much present, fitting in perfect unison with the new vigorously energetic tone of the track.

Mark Mendy & Conan Mac – Carbon [Soave Records]

‘Carbon’ is once again a perfectly balanced pop tune as we have gotten to know them from the hand of the Italian producer. Co-written and sung by UK singer-songwriter Conan Mac, the song is of a rare ear-worm quality. Its chill combination of organic instruments and the more electronically infused drop promises for it to be a radio hit straight from the start.
