Saturday, December 14th marks the second takeover of New York’s own Avant Gardner this year by Spanish party purveyor Elrow.
This time around- Elrow will be partnering with clothing label Desigual, art collective Ink and Movement, and painter and sculptor Okuda San Miguel, who has left already left his mark in NYC by way of his “Soho Dog” a colorful, geometric, space age canine on 214 Lafayette Street. Throughout the immersive party playground nicknamed the “Kaos Garden”, each collaborator will bring their own dish to the party. Over 100 costumed performers will bring the massive 80,000 square foot rave to life, while vibing to internationally renowned tech house DJs such as Lee Foss, Eats Everything, De La Swing, and Andrea Oliva. In other art news, at Art Basel last week, Jesse Metcalfe, Cara Santana, Young Paris, Nyjah Huston, Ambra Gutierrez, Too Short, Mark Houston, Andi Dorfman, Amanda Stanton, Andrew Warren, Stephanie Shepherd, Diana Madison, Jay Pareil, Young Paris, Damon John, James Sheats Goldstein, Gregory Siff and Keith Bulluck were just a few of the notables who attended Rosé Day Miami at the 1Hotel. The exclusive soirée, was one of Art Basel’s most sought-out events which drew in Miami’s elite including the art industry’s top tastemakers, influencers and billionaires. Guests danced to music by DJs Zen Freeman, Fred Falke and Nick Cohen and were treated to visually stunning floral moments, cocktails, food and endless interactive entertainment provided by a number of luxury sponsors including Chateau d’Esclans, Perrier-Jouët, Whispering Angel, Beefeater Pink you Gin, Absolut Elyx, Codigo 1530 Tequila and Modern Luxury.
