1800 Tequila Brings New Cocktails For Your Cinco De Mayo Celebration

Who doesn’t love a good Margarita during the summer time?

With the start of May means Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner.  And what better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than some tequila?  And if you’re like me, you know the best way to enjoy tequila is through a fun margarita.  And luckily, 1800 Tequila is offering a variety of unique cocktail experiences: their ready to drink 1800 The Ultimate Margarita, three custom cocktails paired with fellow Mexican brand Jarritos, and two new spring cocktails that are meant to be enjoyed during this spring and summer.

Next up is the 1800 Jarritos cocktails.  1800 Tequila has partnered with Jarritos to create three unique cocktails that are both easy to make and taste delicious.  And on top of that, all three of these cocktails are made with 1800 Silver which can be easily found at any local liquor store.  Take a look at the recipes and directions below so you can make these cocktails at home.

1800 Piña Paloma 

  • 2 oz. 1800 Silver
  • 4 oz. Jarritos Pineapple
  • ½ oz. fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice

Directions: Build over ice in a highball glass and stir gently to combine. Garnish with a lime wheel and pineapple leaves.

1800 Jammin’ Jamaica Mojito

  • 2 oz. 1800 Silver
  • 4 oz. Jarritos Jamaica
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • ¼ oz. simple syrup
  • 6-8 leaves of fresh mint

Directions: Muddle mint in simple syrup in the bottom of a shaker tin. Add tequila and lime juice, and shake with ice. Strain over fresh ice into a highball glass and top with Jarritos. Garnish with a lime wheel and mint sprig.

1800 Guava Dreams 

  • 2 oz. 1800 Silver
  • 4 oz. Jarritos Guava
  • 1 oz. coconut cream
  • ¾ oz. fresh lime juice

Directions: Shake tequila, coconut cream and fresh lime juice in a shaker with ice and strain into a highball glass over crushed ice. Top with Jarritos and garnish with a lime wheel.

And lastly, we have the 1800 Tequila’s spring cocktails.  All you need for these cocktails is 1800 Silver or 1800 Coconut.  These spring and summer cocktails can be enjoyed during any occasion and are the ideal way to kick off your fun summer plans.

1800 Verde Vibes

  • 2 oz. 1800 Silver
  • ¾ oz. fresh lime juice
  • ¼ oz. jalapeño juice
  • 2 dashes celery bitters

Directions: Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake thoroughly. Strain into a rocks glass and garnish with a salt rim and a jalapeño slice.

1800 Coconut Swizzle

  • 2 oz. 1800 Coconut
  • ¾ oz. fresh lime juice
  • ¾ oz. simple syrup
  • 6-8 muddled fresh mint leaves
  • 2 oz. club soda

Directions: Add all ingredients aside from the club soda to a cocktail shaker and shake thoroughly. Pour into a Collins glass and top with soda. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
