When it comes to the Academy Awards, two big questions are left on film fans’ minds.

Who will take home Best Picture? And more importantly, where are all the stars partying?

As the saying goes, after the show there’s the …

Leave it to Mercedes-Benz USA to throw one of Hollywood’s biggest viewing parties of the night with major stars like Jon Hamm, Tracee Ellis Ross, Anthony Anderson and Jamie Foxx all toasting to tinseltown.

We chatted with first time Oscar goers like Grey’s Anatomy’s Jake Borelli and 13 Reasons Why’s Anne Winters to awards season veteran Mykelti Williamson. Borelli says his life has been “nuts” since joining Seattle Grace, including “getting invited to amazing Oscar parties like this!” Winters says she doesn’t have any Oscar traditions yet, but with a budding career in the works, we’re pretty sure she’s going to come with something!

Williamson (yes, “Bubba” from Forrest Gump) spoke about some of this year’s Oscar controversies saying, “I was glad they returned them to the telecast because it’s not right. You can’t make a good film without editors, costumers, and hair and makeup. Everybody on set is a filmmaker.”

Held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, invited guests were treated to glam touch ups and hand massages  throughout the evening thanks to the on-demand styling app Priv. Let’s face it, the Oscars are long and champagne can do a number on even the most matte lip stain.

Speaking of champagne, there was plenty to go around. But, of course cocktails like the Red Carpet Ready (Strawberry Basil Infused Vodka with Lemonade) and The Best Or Nothing (Tequila, Lime, Grapefruit Juice and Soda) were also served up at the open bar. Guests dined on a Greek influenced food buffet with additional passed Hors d’oeuvres like sliders, bacon wrapped dates, fish tacos, mini cheesecake, and cookies.

Giant screens were spread across multiple rooms of the event, so no matter if you were getting a touch-up, drink or having fun at the photo booth, you weren’t going to miss Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s intimate moment that captured the world.

With the 91st Academy Awards having numerous controversies leading up to the show (did anyone really miss not having a host) we’re thankful Mercedes-Benz could close out Awards Season with a bash as equally glam as it was drama-free.
