Timecrafters Announces 2016 Luxury Watch Show

For centuries, the watch has proven to be much more than a wrist decoration.

The essence of a great timepiece is in the story that it represents. Whether it was passed down through family generations or a treasured gift from a loved one, it’s the unique back story that gives it magic.

On Thursday, TimeCrafters, America’s Premier Luxury Watch Show and Havas Luxe hosted an intimate press conference and panel discussion to announce their 4th edition which will take place at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City May 12th through 15th. TimeCrafters’ mission is to give American watch enthusiasts unforgettable experiences that allow them to learn about the craftsmanship of the world’s best timepieces through the only large-scale public watch exhibit in the U.S. The 3-day exhibit will include dynamic panel discussions and watch-making workshops led by sponsors such as Christie’s, Foundation de la Haute Horlogerie, The New York Times and DuJour on a variety of topics.

The event will give watch enthusiasts a chance to preview new collections and for the first time, consumers will be able to make purchases onsite. This year’s exhibitors are among the most prestigious in the industry including Chopard, Audemars Piguet, TAGHeuer, Tiffany & Co., Frederique Constant, Hublot, Vacheron Constantin, Parmigiani Fleurier, Urwerk, Richard Mille, and Zenith. Representatives from select brands were in the room to share details about the special edition pieces making their debut at the exhibition.
