On Friday, Industria welcomed Theatre Products’ first show outside of Japan for NYFW17.
‘Theatre Products’ is a Japanese brand based in Tokyo. Currently, its main designers are Akira Takeuchi and Tayuka Nakanishi. The name of the company is derived from the slogan, “Fashion creates theatre wherever it goes.”
The debut is part of a partnership with NAKADEN KEORI and JFWO. NAKADEN is well-known for its high-quality fabric and its accessory line.
The showroom presentation featured 14 distinct looks ranging from flare pants to one pieces to fake credit card earrings. Every two minutes or so, the models would rotate and the focus would shift to the new centerfold models.
