The Show’s acclaimed programming includes curated presentations, panel discussions, benefit events, and a special exhibition. This year’s 70th Anniversary edition featured over 70 exhibitors and the main exhibition was Focus: Americana, exceptional objects from historic exhibitors that highlight Americana design history, curated by Alexandra Kirley, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and designed by architects Frederick Fisher & Partners.
The Show is the only fair of its kind founded and owned by its beneficiary East Side House, a community-based organization which annually serves 14,000 residents of the Bronx and Northern Manhattan. The marquee fundraising events for the organization include the Opening Night Party of The Winter Show and Young Collectors Night. Each and every ticket sold for the fair and its benefit events directly fund East Side House Settlement.

It has maintained a legacy for connoisseurship, with every object that is presented on the Show floor vetted for authenticity, date, and condition by a committee of more than 120 experts from the United States and Europe.

Objects highlighted this year included a variety of paintings, pieces of furniture, sculptures, tapestries, books, jewelry, and design, expressing the best of visual and material culture. Urban Life in the South Bronx: A Photo Essay by Simon Cherry was a standout moment as the East Side House Settlement has been an institution at the forefront of helping New Yorkers for decades. As part of its goal in uplifting community members from cradle to cane, East Side House commissioned photographer Simon Cherry to document the lives of community members across the regions it serves.
