The Times Square EDITION Hotel Hosts New Garden Brunch Offering

Located at The Terrace and Outdoor Garden venue, this brunch is as luxurious as it is delicious

New York City is the brunch capital of the world.  And finding the right brunch spot is sometimes difficult.  There must be a perfect balance of quality cocktails, delicious food, and beautiful scenery.  Luckily, The Terrace and Outdoor Gardens, located at the Times Square EDITION Hotel has launched a new Garden Brunch offering.  Offered every Saturday, this brunch features an elevated dining experience that includes a welcome cocktail featuring Hendrick’s Aura Flora gin and a buffet style feast that features a raw bar, charcuterie, pastries, and more.  This entire experience is complimented by the gorgeous dining area where guests could opt for the beautifully decorated terrace space or the scenic outdoor balcony space.  All of this is accompanied by live music that fits this luxurious vibe perfectly.

We had the opportunity to try out the Garden Brunch offering on a warm Saturday afternoon, which is the perfect time to brunch in NYC.  We were seated at the terrace dining area.  The space was decorated in white adornments and filled with vibrant plants and greenery.  Although being a brunch space, this dining area could easily be used as an expensive wedding reception venue.  And the outdoor garden space had beautiful views of New York City and Times Square.  As we sat down, we were given the drink menu to select our complimentary brunch cocktail. We opted for the Flora 75 which was made with Hendrick’s Flora Adora, prosecco, and lemon.  This drink was a boozy spritz that is perfect for any garden brunch.  The prosecco added the right amount of freshness and bubbles and the lemon addition added a brightness that helped accentuate the floral botanicals from the gin.

The offerings served at the Garden Brunch were high quality and things you would easily pay upwards of $25 at a typical brunch.  The raw bar served a variety of seafood but our favorite was the selection of oysters you could pick at.  The selection of charcuterie meats and cheeses was delicious and rotates every week.  The addition of honeycomb made this charcuterie next level and added to the decadence.  The egg station has it all from seasonal quiches, deviled eggs, and an assortment of egg sandwiches.  There is also a salad and sandwiches section that has everything you could possibly want from a brunch from tea sandwiches to chicken sausages and bacon.  One of our personal favorites from this station was the French toast bites served with an orange marmalade.

And if you still have room after, there is a beautiful station with a sweets display made up of the chef’s daily selection of seasonal desserts, pastries, and other sweets.  When we went, their selections consisted of delicious moist brookies, a decadent chocolate pot de crème, and a beautiful matcha bundt cake.

Our takeaway from this meal is that for only $90/pp, this brunch is extremely worth it.  With the wide variety of food offerings, this is a brunch that everyone will have something they like.  And for those that love a boozy brunch, the cocktail selection is both delicious and boozy making for a fun Saturday brunch.  From the beautiful views and the gorgeous décor to the deliciously crafted gourmet food, this outing is one for the books (and for Instagram).
