‘St. Denis Medical’ Panel Brings Big Laughs to Big Apple

The cast and co-creators of NBC’s acclaimed comedy series “St. Denis Medical” participated in an engaging panel discussion following a special screening of the season two premiere episode at the New York Comedy Festival.

Series stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Lepper and Kaliko Kauahi and executive producers Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer kept the audience laughing with their hilarious banter as they shared stories of the shenanigans that went on behind-the-scenes while filming season two.

Additionally, they raved about this season’s impressive slate of comedic guest stars and teased what’s to come in the show’s sophomore season.

“St. Denis Medical” is a mockumentary about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity. In season two, after receiving a large private donation, hospital administrator Joyce bites off more than she can chew while her employees navigate staff shortages, office conflicts and their own personal lives.

Eric Ledgin serves as showrunner and executive producer. Justin Spitzer, Simon Heuer, Ruben Fleischer, Bridget Kyle and Vicky Luu also executive produce. “St. Denis Medical” is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, More Bees, Inc. and Spitzer Holding Company.
