Special Screening: The Pout-Pout Fish at the Aquarium of the Pacific

The Knockturnal attended a special screening of The Pout-Pout Fish at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Los Angeles.

“The Pout-Pout Fish” is an animated comedy film based on the children’s book series by Deborah Diesen, and voiced by Nick Offerman, Nina Oyama, Jordin Sparks, Amy Sedaris, and Miranda Otto

The story follows the down-on-his-luck, somber “Mr. Fish” (Nick Offerman), and the upbeat and energetic sea dragon “Pip” (Nina Oyama) as they form an unlikely duo in an effort to save their homes.

Before the screening, guests were invited to tour the aquarium and learn about the real-life sea creatures that inspired the animated characters, including the ocean pout (“Mr. Fish”) and the yellow leafy sea dragon (“Pip”).

The Pout-Pout Fish comes out in theaters nationwide on Friday, March 20th!
