Saul Williams releases new video “Horn of the Clock-Bike”

Saul Williams has released his new video “Horn of the Clock-Bike” off of his fifth studio album. Williams continues to interrupt our regularly scheduled program with the releases of his haunting new video, which is the second single from his forthcoming studio album MartyrLoserKing. The album’s release date has been changed to January 22, 2016 and will be released via Fader label. In the video Saul is in his New York apartment when he notices he’s being watched by a drone-like mechanism.

Saul is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, musician, poet, writer, and actor. He is mostly known for his poetry and alternative hip-hop blend. The New York native broke into music around 1998 and has performed with artists such as Nas, The Fugees, Erykah Badu, and many more. Saul has won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, Camera D’Or at Cannes Film Festival, and was a Nuyorican Grand Slam Champion. He’s collaborated with Trent Reznor, Blackalicious, and Zack de la Rocha.

MartyrLoserKing will be Williams’ fifth album released, this album is timely as ever, with protests police brutality, government control, and economic disparity erupting around the world. MartyrLoserKing tells the story of its eponymous fictional character, a Burundian miner- turned- hacker who starts a revolution from his computer. Saul mixes his poetry and lullabies with a melancholy melody.
