We experienced an up close and personal meet and greet with rising star Summer Dennis at her Manis and Martini’s event.
Suite Eleven in Brooklyn which provides a vegan nail experience was the setting for this super chic event. Influencers, media and fans gathered for manicures, pedicures, light bites and martinis as they got to chat with Summer Dennis about her latest release Pink Lotus.
This Maryland raised songstress is a rising star whose personality is just as vibrant as her sound! Influenced by her Caribbean heritage and her parents’ music taste, her soulful music is showing she’s one to watch.
Her latest single “Pink Lotus featuring Kaash Paige” can be described as a “girl power record” and allows fans to come up with their own interpretation of what the Pink Lotus is.
“The song is told from a woman’s perspective and I have enjoyed hearing fans feedback on what they think the song is about so I’m not going to define that for anyone..maybe later” said Dennis.
The video is the first of five visuals that tell a unique story. Summer says this project was really special as she got to work with a bunch of talented people, including famous choreographer Laurieann Gibson in a Creative Director role.
