And here is The Knockturnal’s review of the Biltmore Hotel: A Four Seasons Resort.
Once in a while it’s good, neigh, necessary to get out of town to re-coupe, re-charge and relax. Sometimes it’s not so easy however, to gather up the family and coordinate schedules to make that happen. That’s why, when deciding where to go for a most needed weekend getaway we wanted to make the most of it. And that we did!
After doing a bit of research we decided hands down to spend our much needed get away at the Biltmore: A Four Seasons Resort in Santa Barbara that more than lived up to it’s sterling reputation!
Upon arrival we were greeted warmly, and immediately breath taken with the almost surreal surroundings the sprawling 22-acre mission style resort nestled in, which featured lush greenery, winding lit brick walkways, courtyard gardens and charming cottages. Ours was a king suite with French doors which led out to a large Zen like patio.
After checking in to our suite (and a two and a half hour drive) we more than ready to trade our clothes for bathing suits and hit the beach club pool (available with upgrade), which sat almost directly on the ocean a short walk from the hotel. The club has two dining options, tennis courts, fitness center and a breathtaking view of the sparkling Pacific Ocean. The hotel itself also features a lovely pool (included) with full food and beverage service.
A few hours into lounging, swimming and soaking in the hot tub, we were ready for dinner at the hotel’s Bella Vista restaurant, which serves delicious Italian influenced California cuisine with a beautiful view of the ocean from the patio.
The service at this hotel is impeccable. We were always greeted with a smile and if we had a special request the staff were more than happy to promptly attend to it.
Spa treatments, beach club, numerous nearby golf courses, wineries, tennis courts, swimming pool(s) and more make the Biltmore hotel, Four Seasons in Santa Barbara an ideal getaway for relaxation or outdoor activity for the whole family. All in all, The Knockturnal highly recommends this gorgeous getaway!
